You’ll schedule an exploratory phone consult with photographer Elise Kutt, where you’ll talk about your motivation for a photo-shoot, and she’ll explain the process and session options, so you can focus on daydreaming about all the possibilities.
Let’s date.
Once we set your date, it’s time for all things session design—the style you’re after, the wardrobe you can’t stop thinking about, any props you want to bring in, and total MAIN-CHARACTER-ENERGY.
Glam-packed.
If hair and makeup are included in your selected session, you’ll arrive with clean hair, and a fresh face, ready to spend an hour and a half in the chair with our stylist. This time is intentionally designed to help you acclimate to the team and space so you’re more relaxed and a little less nervous before it’s lights, camera, attraction!
Pout, pucker and pose.
Over the course of your session you’ll receive expert pose and expression coaching as you swap between outfits and sets. This is where the Mod Bettie experience truly sets itself apart, Elise’s enthusiasm and years of experience behind the camera is unmatched!
The Reveal!
After the shoot we’ll schedule your virtual reveal and ordering appointment where you’ll pick the images included in your session from your 40+ best images. (You’ll also have the opportunity to preview and purchase any additional images or products.)

A: Click the link for the session you want to book above! We’ll hop and a phone consult to chat all things photoshoot! We will likely get a date on the calendar for your shoot at the time of our phone consultation or if you’re booking the Build-Your-Own Session you’ll get a link to our calendar after purchasing. Our calendar fills up quickly, so we highly recommend that you don’t wait to schedule with us (even if it’s months in advance).

A: We understand that sometimes life happens, and it’s important to us that you’re able to feel your best self on the day of your session. That said, we ask that you try to give us 2-3 weeks notice in the event of a reschedule, one time only. We are able to make an exception to the 2-3 weeks notice in the event of illness, emergency, or an act of God herself.
For our full policies on rescheduling/cancellations, you can always refer back to the contract that you will receive after the purchase of your session. Please note that we reserve the right to deny reschedule requests within the bounds of this contract.

A: We shoot Thursdays & Fridays with a 10am start time if you’re shooting in-studio. Outdoor sessions are typically weekday evenings and start times vary for light/season. If your heart is set on shooting with us on a Saturday, the Black Label session above is available for Saturday bookings.

A: Not unless you want them to be! We respect the fact that it takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there and for some folks just being behind the camera is intimidating enough. This is a very intimate experience and we will do whatever it takes to make you feel confident and comfortable. Our hope is that you will receive your retouched images and feel so proud and powerful that you can't help but show everyone you know!

The Luxe and Black Label Sessions above include access to our Mod Bettie closet with a pre-shoot wardrobe consult. You’ll schedule this 2-3 weeks before your session date and Elise will pull out anything from the closet that you might want to try on for your session. If you book the Build Your Own Session it does NOT include this service unless you add it to your session at the time of purchase.

A: Please feel welcome to bring a friend as a cheerleader! Or, maybe you mean you want to shoot with a friend? In that case, we’ll chat about how that works during your phone consultation!

A: For sanitary reasons, we do not carry lingerie in our studio wardrobe. We have extensive experience shopping some of our favorite lingerie brands and can help with that process in the pre-production design call included in the Luxe and Black Label sessions above.

A: After choosing your favorites, you can expect your final, retouched digital gallery 3-4 weeks after your session! YAY!
If your session includes an album, prints, or a magazine, you can expect physical products to be ready 6-8 weeks after you’ve approved the layout unless otherwise noted.
Please note that delivery of your final gallery will be held if you have an unpaid balance on your session or any additional images purchased.
