Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

  • A: Purchase the session above and get your session on the calendar! Elise is offering a very limited number of summer dates and will close bookings once her limit is reached, so we highly recommend that you don’t wait to book (even if it’s months in advance).

  • A: We understand that sometimes life happens, and it’s important to us that you’re able to feel like your best self on the day of your session. That said, it takes a staff of 3 to produce a Mod Bettie session so we ask that you give us 2-3 weeks notice in the event of a reschedule, one time only, so we are able to fill the spot. We are able to make an exception to the 2-3 weeks notice in the event of illness, emergency, or an act of God herself but dates are extremely limited.

    For our full policies on rescheduling/cancellations, you can always refer back to the contract you agreed to when you booked HERE. Please note that we reserve the right to deny reschedule requests within the bounds of this contract.

  • A: We shoot Wednesday-Friday. If your heart is set on shooting with us on a Saturday, there is the option to add this onto your session for an additional fee.

  • A: Not unless you want them to be! We respect the fact that it takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there and for some folks, just being behind the camera is intimidating enough. This is a very intimate experience and we will do whatever it takes to make you feel confident and comfortable. Our hope is that you will receive your retouched images and feel so empowered and beautiful that you can't help but show everyone you know!

  • If you select the wardrobe consult add-on it does! You’ll work with Elise via text before session day to confirm wardrobe options and she will bring any pieces from the closet that were previously discussed. If this add-on is not purchased, it will be assumed that on shoot day you’ll arrive with all wardrobe options you’ve planned.

  • A: Please feel welcome to bring a friend as a cheerleader! (Supportive and non-judgmental friends only please!) Or, maybe you mean you want to shoot with a friend? In that case, reach out to loveyourself@modbettie.com to talk about a custom add-on.

  • A: For sanitary reasons, we do not carry lingerie in our studio wardrobe. But if you plan to shoot boudoir, we’ve still got you covered! Our sister business Naughty Bettie carries inclusive sizes and styles of lingerie for all bodies.

    *Bonus: Your session includes 15% off your pre-shoot purchase from the boutique!

  • A: After choosing your favorites, you can expect your final, retouched digital gallery 3-4 weeks after your session! YAY!

    If you order an album, prints, or a magazine, you can expect physical products to be ready 6-8 weeks after you’ve approved the layout unless otherwise noted.

    Please note that delivery of your final gallery will be held if you have an unpaid balance on any additional images you might purchase.
